With support and direction from the Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority, the Consultant Team of Cornerstone Architects, VIRIDIS Design Group, and William & Works developed a visioning plan for the future redevelopment of the Arena South area. The plan provides a ready approach to guide decision making and prioritization related to development opportunities, transportation, partnerships, and public investments. The plan in general supports: 

 

-Linking Arena South to other important hubs of economic, industrial, commercial, and social activity in the city.

-Accommodating future development that builds and fills in the streetscape through density, massing, and smart land use.

-Providing property owners and residents with added amenities needed to make Arena South a vibrant, vital, and livable place to work, live, and play.
