VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional landscape architectural services to Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc. (DKI) to develop a streetscape concept for a portion of the East Michigan Avenue Corridor in Downtown Kalamazoo. VIRIDIS met with DKI and the stakeholder group, which consisted of business owners within the study area, to establish programming and goals for the project. VIRIDIS prepared a 3D model of the corridor and developed a concept  for streetscape improvements, using input received from the stakeholder group and DKI. After refining the concept to incorporate the clients' ideas, VIRIDIS presented the final concept model to DKI and the City of Kalamazoo representatives. VIRIDIS also provided a preliminary opinion  of cost for the project.
