VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional landscape architectural services to the City of Hastings to develop a conceptual streetscape design for a three block stretch along South Hanover Street as an entryway to the Downtown Business District. VIRIDIS provided a 3D model of the corridor and developed a conceptual master plan for streetscape improvements including traffic calming devices, lighting, paving, entry signage, a trail head, intersection improvements, landscape treatments, and site furnishings. In addition to the master plan, an opinion of cost was prepared for implementation of the improvements. VIRIDIS presented the final concept model to the City DDA and prepared a project summary document including all concepts, plans, estimates, and a narrative of the project process and design.
