VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional design services to Diekema Hamann and Battle Creek Health System for a proposed expansion of the emergency department at the BCHS campus near downtown Battle Creek. VIRIDIS was responsible for all aspects of the site design process including grading, storm water management, layout, site utilities, retaining walls, landscaping and irrigation design. The project also included a proposed helistop for which VIRIDIS assisted with preliminary planning efforts. VIRIDIS also developed a 3D topographic model of the proposed site improvements (to compliment Diekema Hamann's building model), demonstrating the challenging topography of the existing site, and assisting in placement of proposed retaining walls. VIRIDIS Design Group ushered the p;roject through the City of Battle Creek site plan review process.
