VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional landscape architectural services to SHW Group, LLP and Mount Morris Consolidated Schools for the development of a bus staging area at Montague Elementary School. Montague is housed on an urban parcel within the City of Mount Morris, and as such, did not previously have separation of parent and bus traffic. VIRIDIS assisted the district in evaluating the most effective solution for bus staging by providing multiple 3D conceptual site plans for review and consideration. Upon a selection of a concept by the district, VIRIDIS completed full construction documentation and coordinated all agency reviews necessary for approval by the State of Michigan. In conjunction with the bus staging area, improvements have been planned for the entrance/exit for the parent drop off and staff parking areas.
