VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional landscape architectural services to Alamo Township to develop a master plan for improvements to Alamo Township Community Park. VIRIDIS facilitated a programming session and design charrette with the Park Board and interested community members to gather ideas and input for the design. VIRIDIS then provided a conceptual master plan and cost estimation for the proposed development of the park which includes nature trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters, bocce ball, horse shoes, expanded parking, a new softball field, paved trails, landscaping, a pedestrian bridge, reforestation of existing wooded areas, and entry signage. VIRIDIS is currently assisting the township with exploring funding alternatives and grant opportunities.
