VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional landscape architectural services to the City of Sturgis to develop a master plan for the redevelopment of Memorial Park. VIRIDIS facilitated a design charrette with city staff, community members, and interest groups to gathers ideas and input for the design. VIRIDIS prepared a conceptual master plan and cost estimation for the proposed development of the urban park whcih includes paved trails, memorial walls, playgrounds, expanded parking, a basketball court, picnic shelters, gathering spaces, fitness stations, a water feature, landscaping, and entry identification. VIRIDIS also pepared an illustrative master plan of the park and presented it to the City Commission.
