VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional design services to Kingscott and Hartland Consolidated Schools for a playground addition at Creekside Elementary School. The new playground was specifically designed for barrier-free accessibility and included the following amenities specifically tailored to students with special needs:

 

- Access ramps and transitions between platforms to ensure that the entire modular structure is accessible to wheelchair-bound users;

 

- Poured-in-place resilient surfacing to improve access to various areas of the playground while providing the necessary impact attenuation;

 

- New swing set with therapeutic seats.
